Has anyone taken Probiotics and had increase in Gerd and, or other intestinal problems?
it depends on what kind fo probiotics you’re using. if it’s just a plain capsule then no, have never head of worstening gidestive symptoms unless product contain colostrum which is derived from dairy, in which case ppl sensitive to dairy cant have it.
If it’s a drink like Yakult, then yes absolutely. It’s not the probiotics thats doing it but all the sugar that they add to keep the probiotics alive. Which kind of defeats the point cause sugar can worsten digestive symptoms and make the bad bacteria grow faster.
Try a powdered acidophilus (100% pure, no filler) and start 1/3 teaspoon and work your way up to the dosage on the bottle. good luck
