Whats the maximum dosage i can take of acidophillus probiotics?
I would say there isn’t a maximum dosage you can take as they are beneficial and not harmful and any excess would just die off anyway if there wasn’t the right food to sustain them or competition between them was too much. Some typical high street brands of acidophilus capsules:
One I found contained 4 billion bacteria per capsule, equivalent to 8 tubs live yogurt. Another one contains 8 billion mixed strains per capsule and the daily dosage recommended was 2 capsules (16 billion organisms):

Companies have done the science and you probably wouldn’t gain much extra benefit from taking more than 16 billion live organism per day. Drinking milk alongside the acidophilus is a good idea as it provides food by way of the lactose for the organisms to multiply in your intestines. Also, anything containing prebiotics, such as fructooligosaccharides (FOS), boosts growth of the probiotics also. These are sometimes added to breakfast cereals or to the acidophilus capsules themselves. Pectin is a prebiotic so it should be beneficial to eat an apple alongside your acidophilus capsule
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
